Over the last month the U.S. Marshals and the Knox County Sheriff's Office Investigations have been conducting a fugitive investigation on the whereabouts of Gabriel Moore (DOB 11/04/2004) in reference to the shooting on South Street on June 7, 2024. 

On July 11, 2024 the U.S. Marshals and Knox County Sheriff's Office conducted an operation at 300 E Davis St. Apt 2 in Galesburg.  Moore was taken into custody without incident. 

Also present for the operation was the Galesburg Police Department, FBI, and GHAS.

All persons are considered innocent until proven guilty.
