The Knox County Sheriff's Office conducted investigations into narcotic sells, gun trafficking, and violent crimes in Galesburg and the Knox County area.  The operation had one primary focus - to arrest individuals who distribute and possess narcotics and/or illegally sell firearms in the Galesburg and Knox County area. 

Several law enforcement officers from the Knox County Sheriff's Office, along with the Quad City F.B.I Task Force, Monmouth Police, Galesburg Police, the U.S. Marshals, and the Illinois State Police teamed up to arrest 11 people in Knox County, on a number of charges. During the course of the investigation four stolen firearms were recovered, including an AR-15 with armor piercing rounds. Also seized were various amounts of methamphetamines, heroin, and cocaine.

Deputies and Agents also assisted Knoxville Police Department with the stop and seizure of a stolen vehicle off Interstate I-74.

The Knox County Sheriff's Office anticipates making more arrests, due to information gathered during the investigation.

A search warrant was conducted at 453 East Losey Street.  During the search warrant a female was located inside the residence that had overdosed.  Agents deployed Narcan and summoned paramedics to treat the female.  She was transported to St. Mary's Hospital.  A search of the residence revealed large quantities of Methamphetamine and Cocaine.  

Those arrested include:

Patrick Neal Snyder (W/M 57 y/o): Delivery/Intent to Deliver/Possession Methamphetamine, Possession of Controlled Substance, Unlawful Use of Weapon, In-State Warrant for Possession with the Intent to Deliver Methamphetamines

Amber Williams (W/F 36 y/o): Unlawful Use of Weapon, Manufacture of Controlled Substance, Delivery of Controlled Substance, Possession of Controlled Substance, In-State Warrant for Possession with the Intent to Deliver Heroin

Briton Carruthers (B/M 34 y/o): Unlawful Use of Weapon, Manufacture of Controlled Substance, Possession of Controlled Substance, In-State Warrant for Possession with the Intent to Deliver Heroin

Nicholas Perino (W/M 32 y/o): In-State Warrant for Manufacture and Delivery of Methamphetamines

Thomas Canaday (B/M 47 y/o): Residential Arson and Arson

Misty Garman (W/F 43 y/o): In-State Warrant for Manufacture and Delivery of Methamphetamines

Glenn Nicholson (B/M 57 y/o): In-State Warrant for Manufacture and Delivery of Methamphetamines X2

Raven Harris (B/F 29 y/o): Mob Action

Michael Rigg (W/M 43 y/o): In-State Warrant for Manufacture and Delivery of Methamphetamines

Chris Babers (B/M 22 y/o): In-State Warrant for Possession of a Stolen Firearm and Unlawful Sale or Delivery of Firearm

Renee Marquis (W/F 38 y/o): Retail Theft

The following agencies assisted in the investigations: Quad City Metropolitan Enforcement Group and the Knox County States Attorney Office.

All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in the court of law.
