On Thursday, December 15, 2022, Knox County Deputies responded to a report of a fight in the lobby of the Knox County Sheriff's Department.  A male and female had been battered by a female inside the front door.  The female suspect fled the scene before Deputies arrived.

The suspect was identified as Marcresha Jenkins (age 26 of 676 Home Boulevard) was located and arrested by Knox County Deputies approximately 2 hours later.

Jenkins was charged with one count of Domestic battery and one count of Aggravated Battery.  Jenkins is currently being held at the Knox County Sheriff's Department.

All subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
