Suspect Sought For Stolen Vehicle & Pursuit



On Saturday, June 29th, 2013 at 2:02AM., an Abingdon Police Officer attempted to perform a traffic stop on a silver 2007 Pontiac G6 in the 500 block of S. Pennsylvania Avenue. The vehicle then fled to which a pursuit ensued. The vehicle was later discovered wrecked and abandoned in the 1500 block of Berwick Road in Warren County. Through further investigation it was learned that the vehicle was stolen out of Bushnell, Illinois.

A suspicious white male was seen later that morning around 6:00AM., in the 1600 block of 100th Avenue in Warren County, walking eastbound. The suspicious person was described as being in his early to mid-20's, being 5'10"-6'00" tall, weighing 160 lbs, having short dark hair with a goatee. The subject was last seen wearing a white shirt and dark colored pants.
