Meth Manufacturing Arrest - Abingdon

Thursday, February 9, 2012, 1144 P.M., an Abingdon Police Officer arrived at 301 S. East St., Lot #28, Abingdon to attempt to locate a subject who was wanted on a Knox County warrant. Upon approaching the residence the Officer observed a subject exiting the front door while a second subject ran into the residence.
The Officer approached one of the subjects on the porch at which time a strong odor of ammonia was detected emanating from the residence. The Officer asked that all subjects exit the residence which three people did. Knox County and Warren County Deputies arrived after a request for assistance was dispatched. While waiting for assistance, the subject wanted on the Knox County warrant exited the residence and was taken into custody.
The investigation resulted in Knox County Deputies obtaining a search warrant for the residence in Abingdon. Officers from three agencies and the Illinois State Police Meth Response Team conducted a search of the residence which resulted in the seizure of numerous items commonly used in methamphetamine manufacturing.
The investigation resulted in the arrest of four suspects:

All four suspects are currently incarcerated in the Knox County Jail awaiting court appearances.
